Many Town Positions Still Open

There are several openings for various positions in the Town of Nelson. Elections take place on the day of Town Meeting (March 9th) however the filing period for candidates ends this Friday, January 29th. The town clerk’s office will open at 3:00 p.m. (one hour earlier than usual) to accommodate anyone who wishes to register. [...]

Upcoming Elections for School District Officials

Elections for Nelson School District officials take place on Town Meeting Day (March 9th). Voting is from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (note that the polls close before the commencement of Town Meeting).
The supervisors of the checklist will meet at the Brick Schoolhouse to register new voters from 7 – 7:30 p.m.
