Heathen Creek” is what happens when contra music has a head-on collision with Gen-X. Rutman’s scorching fiddle soars while Johannsen (guitar) and Koyama (mandolin) lay down thunder and crunch that is equal parts Keith Murphy and Kurt Cobain.
