Old Home Week officially starts on Sunday, August 7th. But you can get started celebrating early by dancing to Dudley Laufman at the Nelson Town Hall at 8:00 Saturday, August 6th. Thanks to a generous benefactor, admission for the dance is only $2. Dudley is an integral part of Nelson’s rich dance heritage. Come and have fun!
Sunday, August 7th. The week officially begins. Everyone is welcome at the Nelson Congregational Church for a special Old Home Sunday worship service starting at 9:30. Old-time dress and modes of transportation for getting there are common and welcome!
Monday, August 8th, 10 – 12: Carnivalcopia – Nelson School Admission is Free
Geared towards children ages 4 – 10, but all are welcome. More Info
Monday night: The weekly Monday Night Dance 8:00 Donation $3.00
Tuesday: Apple Hill Summer Series
Wednesday: “Reptiles on the Move” at the library.
Ham ‘n’ Bean Supper at the Nelson Congregational Church starting at 5:00.
Thursday: Hike sponsored by the trails committee at 5:30 pm
Thursday 7:30 p.m. - Monadnock Music in the Nelson Congregational Church
Friday: Capture the Flag at 5:30 pm at the ball field.
Friday evening: tentative Movie Night at the Town common at dusk, bring your own lawn chairs and snacks. Rain Location: Safety building

Saturday evening: Nelson Folks Coffeehouse – Town Hall – Free Admission. Local musicians.
