Six years ago the students below perched on the playground climbing structure to celebrate their graduation from Nelson School.

Nelson School Sixth Grade 2003
Last week they, plus and minus a couple folks, graduated from Keene High School. We offer our hearty congratulations and best wishes as they stride forth to the next phase of their lives!

Tyler Brnger
Tyler Brnger, son of Debby and Peter Brnger, will be attending the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at UNH where he also plans to play football.

Abby Giffin
Abby Giffin, daughter of Jay and Sienna Giffin, will be taking business classes at River Valley Community College while she figures out what comes after that. Options under consideration include nursing or art school.

Heather Greathouse
Heather Greathouse, daughter of Joe and Tina Greathouse, will attend the University of Kentucky where she has been awarded a Rifle team scholarship. Heather is nationally ranked in both air and small bore rifle.

Oliver Mednick
Oliver Mednick, son of Betsy Street and Terry Mednick, will attend Wheaton College in Massachusetts where he plans to explore several fields before choosing a major.

David Meneses
David Meneses, son of Patricia and Mario Meneses, is applying to go on a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Upon his return he will be applying to colleges.

Alina Michelewicz
Alina Michelewicz, daughter of Caren Barrett and Gary Michelewicz, will be going to Hungary this summer, then working and saving money for either college or travel. Her first destination: South America.

Chris Platt
Chris Platt, son of Mike and Caroline Platt, will attend Mars Hill College in North Carolina where he plans to major in zoology.

Jackie Marinoff
Jackie Marinoff, daughter of Keith and Phyllis Marinoff, no longer lives in Nelson, but since she graduated from Nelson School we’ll still claim her. She will be attending Brandeis University in Massachusetts.
