Finally!  The date for the Nelson Community Forum has been set!  Everyone’s buzzing about what will come out of this one-and-a-half day event.

What IS this ‘Community Forum’?
At the Nelson Community Forum, we will all come together to reaffirm town strengths, identify problems and concerns, and collectively plan action projects.

What’s the Agenda for the Nelson Community Forum?
The schedule for the Nelson Community Forum is:

Friday Evening 5:30-9:30 pm
• Arrival and potluck supper at Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music
• Introduction to the Community Forum
• Overview of the community using census information
• Collective community evaluation

Saturday 8:45 am
Sign-in, Light Refreshment, Beverage and then:
9:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Identification of key issues
• Brainstorming and evaluation of potential solutions
• Lunch
• Selection of immediate action initiatives
• Plans to achieve and implement goals
