Dr. Nathaniel Breed is my 5th great-grandfather and I came across this article while doing a Google search on his name. Your article has provided me with a much richer picture of my ancestor and the the community in which he lived. I only wish that other communities would do as good a job as you have in making your history accessible and interesting. Do you have a transcription of the inscription on Dr. Breed's tombstone? If so, I would greatly appreciate it if you could send it to me at the email address above.
