Nelson School will once again be participating in the Trick-or-Treat for U.N.I.C.E.F Campaign on Oct. 31. U.N.I.C.E.F was established in the 1940’s with a mission of supporting needy children around the world. Children around the country are working together to raise money for this worthy organization by bringing their orange box with them when they go trick-or-treating.
Our students have practiced being polite, explaining what the donation is for, and thanking everyone they ask, regardless of whether the person donates or not. Please consider keeping a small dish of change next to your candy bowl for when the Nelson students come knocking.
