On Sunday, August 31st, The Nelson Town Band provided music for the end-of-summer Ice Cream Social on the lawn of the Nelson Congregational Church. This event occurs in late June/early July every year, and again on Labor Day Weekend. It is always an enjoyable event, but this particular occasion was blessed with the most excellent weather imaginable.
